Uganda: Blencowe identifies graphite across 25 kilometres at Orom-Cross, with samples above 20%

A second exploration phase highlights potential geological continuity beyond the deposits already studied. The reported spot grades are neither a deposit average nor a new certified resource estimate.

Illustration supplied for this report. Blencowe Resources is expanding its exploration perspective at Orom-Cross in northern Uganda. A communication published on 26 October 2026 announces completion of a second phase of work on geophysical targets to the north and south of the deposits already identified. The investigations confirmed outcropping graphite along approximately 25 kilometres of potential geological continuity. They provide further information for assessing a wider area than the zones currently under study. Encouraging spot sample grades Blencowe says samples from three targets returned grades above 20% total graphitic carbon. The results support further investigation, but require careful interpretation. A grade measured in a spot sample cannot be treated as the average grade of a deposit. Drilling, geological modelling and additional studies will be needed to assess volumes and mining conditions. A value-addition opportunity for East Africa Graphite is used in lithium-ion batteries and many industrial applications. Orom-Cross could contribute to the emergence of a production industry in East Africa and create opportunities for local processing. Blencowe intends to improve...
